Terms of Service
Last updated: October 17, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ORESHI’s Lavalink hosting services and website (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Services
We provide managed Lavalink nodes and related tooling. We do not provide or ship a Discord bot; you bring your own application and configuration. The Services may be offered in free or paid tiers and across multiple regions (USA, Finland, Singapore).
2. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable laws.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and your bot’s tokens.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs on your nodes and for your end users’ behavior.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited activities include:
- Infringing others’ intellectual property rights or violating terms of third‑party platforms;
- Illegal content or activity, malware, DDoS, or attempts to disrupt or bypass our controls;
- Data scraping of platforms that prohibit it; abusive or high‑risk behavior that threatens stability.
4. Plugins and Supported Sources
The Services may be used with third‑party/community plugins to access supported sources. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those platforms. Our Service does not directly stream media from the listed platforms and does not cache their content. You must ensure you have the rights and API access (if required) to retrieve and transmit any audio requested by your bot.
5. Trials, Plans, and Billing
- Trials: a 3‑day trial may be offered for eligible plans. Trials may be limited or revoked for abuse.
- Pricing: paid plans start at $10/month; plan features and prices may change with notice.
- Taxes: prices may exclude applicable taxes or fees which you are responsible for.
- Cancellation: you can cancel any time; service continues to the end of the current billing period.
6. Service Levels and Support
We aim for high uptime and low latency but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Outages, maintenance, or upstream issues may occur. “Priority support” means queue priority and faster responses; scope is the same as the Starter plan unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Intellectual Property
We retain all rights to our infrastructure, software, and branding. You retain rights to your bot code and content. You grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service on your behalf (e.g., to route audio and process operational logs).
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate the Service (with or without notice) if you breach these Terms, create risk, cause harm, or if required by law. Upon termination, your access will cease and we may delete associated data per our Privacy Policy and retention schedules.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS/REVENUE/DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Reports and Takedown
If you believe the Service is being used to infringe rights or violate platform terms, contact jirayu.s@jirayu.net with sufficient detail. We may disable specific nodes/plugins or suspend accounts while investigating.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or applicable law. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., by posting on this page). Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
